This article contains general information and settings you'll need while configuring a desktop or mobile email client to work with your CloudMail email account. CloudMail is a free hosted webmail service. We suggest that you use webmail and that you set up your webmail with an email client using IMAP.
If you're using webmail services, you do not need to worry about incoming mail server settings.
Incoming Server name: mail.cloudaccess.net
Use SSL (Required): Yes
Port: 993 (SSL IMAP) (Recommended)
Port: 995 (SSL POP)
Email: Your Full Email Address
User name: Your full email address (i.e. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)
Password: Your email password
If you're using webmail you do not require any outgoing mail server settings.
Outgoing Server Name: mail.cloudaccess.net
Use Encrypted Connection (SSL or TLS/STARTTLS): Yes
Outgoing Server Port for TLS/STARTTLS: 587
Outgoing Server Port for SSL: 465
Use Authentication: Yes
User name: Your full email address (i.e. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)
Password: Your email password
*Important: The outgoing server for CloudAccess.net requires SMTP authentication when using port 587, which is highly recommended for security and to keep from being blocked by your ISP (Internet Service Provider). Microsoft Outlook users will need to manually enable this feature.
*Important: When entering your username, please enter your entire email address (i.e. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
*Note: Outgoing mail is limited by CloudAccess.net. We do not allow mass email campaigns using our mail system.
