Transferring a .UK Domain Name to CloudAccess.net

This article contains detailed instructions for transferring .UK domain names (.uk, .co.uk, .uk.com, .me.uk, .org.uk) to CloudAccess.net. Before you begin, make sure that the IPS Tag on your domain at your current registrar has been changed to ENOM (all capital letters).

Next, log in into your CloudAccess.net Cloud Control Panel™(CCP). Once in the CCP, click on the "New Product" button. When selecting a product, click on the "Domains" button.

In the next window, click on the "Transfer" button.

In the next window, enter the .UK domain name you wish to transfer and click on “Add to Cart”. If you enter a domain name that isn’t registered yet, an error message will pop-up stating “You cannot transfer a domain that isn't registered”. And since you are transferring a .UK domain, EPP is not required and you can leave the Authorization Code field blank.

Your shopping cart will be updated and a "Domains Configuration" area will appear. Be sure to follow all of the steps indicated before and after transferring your domain name. The WHOIS opt-out option applies only to .UK-based domain names and it hides some of the details found on the WHOIS database. Please take note that the WHOIS opt-out only hides your address details, and not the registrant name.

You'll also have the option to select your nameserver settings. If your site is hosted with CloudAccess.net, you can leave the name server settings as is. If your site is hosted elsewhere, you'll have to contact your hosting company to find the nameserver settings you should be using. Click "Update Cart" when you're done.
