Accessing a Joomla or WordPress Site using FTP
Most hosting services give you a different set of credentials - one for the Joomla/WordPress back-end and another to the file transfer protocol (FTP). With CloudAccess.net, you only have one set of credentials. Your FTP login and password are always the same as your Joomla/WordPress back-end login credentials. As for the hostname, it may differ from one FTP client to another, but basically just the site's address will suffice. Learn how to access your FTP login details.
We generally advise our clients to use FileZilla. Download Filezilla now. This is the most popular free FTP program on the web. Please be careful on installation to unselect the additional programs that are included with it.
